Joining a mortgage network should be simple and hassle-free. Instead of tying you down with endless requirements, we’ve streamlined the process to ensure you won’t have to deal with any unnecessary delays.
The first step involves signing a 12-month agreement to join the Giving Mortgages Network, which includes choosing a preferred tier and agreeing on commercial terms with our Business Development Manager.
In addition to the application form, you will be asked to submit essential documentation such as the A&L form, POA, ID, credit file, DBS, bank statements, fee structure, and fair value assessment.
The application is submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to join as Appointed Representatives, contingent upon submission of documents from step 2.
Our internal underwriting team conducts due diligence, including social media and Companies House verification, to ensure the integrity of the information provided.
New applicants attend a 2–3 day training course covering our systems, compliance requirements and advisory processes. Upon completion, they must pass tests related to money laundering, advisor knowledge and data protection.
Take time to familiarise yourself with our systems and processes whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ongoing support is provided by our in-house compliance team.
Once the onboarding process is complete, you can then be confirmed as Appointed Representatives. You can then start submitting cases, with the first 3 mortgage and 3 protection cases subject to compliance checks. Ongoing case checks ensure continued adherence to industry standards.
